Our Story

From the Desk of Claude S. Gulino

My name is Claude Gulino. I am 73 years old, originally from Pozzallo, Sicily. In 1970, at the age of 17, I arrived in America aboard a ship called the Michelangelo โ€” with nothing but the ambition and work ethic my father had taught me in the fields.

Over the next fifty years, I built a life.

A career at some of the world's largest investment banks โ€” Merrill Lynch, Prudential Securities, First Boston, Credit Suisse โ€” followed by another twenty years in business consulting. A family: my wife Rosaria, with whom I just celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary on May 2, 2026, and our three sons: John, Claude Jr., and Daniel. Properties in New Jersey, New York, Florida, and Italy. Seven vehicles between cars and motorcycles in Italy, New Jersey, and Florida. A living trust. Retirement accounts. Health insurance for two. Rental income from multiple properties. Loans. Subscriptions. Documents in three languages.

And no single place to see any of it.

I tried spreadsheets. I tried folders. I tried just about everything. Nothing existed to manage a life like mine โ€” or, honestly, to manage a life like so many other families who find themselves, later in life, with businesses still running, properties to oversee, growing complexity, and a legacy that risks being left unclear and undefined for the people they love.

So, in May 2026, I sat down with an AI assistant and said: let's build it.

Three weeks later, I had a working system. Properties, vehicles, medical records, finances, a secure document archive, email automation, rental income tracking, family legacy โ€” all in one place, all connected, all mine.

But there's something more. I didn't use AI just to build the system โ€” the AI agent lives inside casAI. It's the one that built everything, meeting every one of my requirements, and now it's there, always present, to manage it. It answers questions, updates information, and executes what is asked of it โ€” with precise instructions and no hesitation. It's not an external assistant you turn to occasionally. It's an integral part of the home.

My son looked at it and said: other people need this.

He was right.

That system became casAI โ€” casa, the Italian word for home, powered by artificial intelligence. Built not by a startup guessing at what families need, but by a man who lived it.

casAI. Your home. Your family. Your business. Your legacy. With an AI agent living inside it, every day, for you.
